How do I make a provisional booking?If you would like to accept our quotation, contact our office in Paignton to discuss your removal, check potential dates for your removal or provisionally book your date.

Do I have to pay a deposit?We ask for a non-refundable deposit only when you have a confirmed your moving date. The details are shown on the second page of your quotation. The Acceptance of Quotation should be completed and returned to our office in the stamped addressed envelope we have provided when you accept our offer. Your deposit can be made by BACS, Credit or Debit Card or if you would prefer you can visit us at our storage facility at the above address to pay by cash.

How do I pay my balance?The balance is due prior to the unloading of the vehicle on the day of your removal. Payment can be made by BACs or Direct Bank Transfer and should be made to our account at Nat West. If you wish to pay by Debit or Credit Card please call 01803 665535 and quote your name, address and invoice number.

Do you have any helpful packing tips?Reinforce the bottom of every box with the tape. Use crushed packing paper as extra cushioning and more crushed paper as filler when packing china plates, pack them standing up on their ends rather than flat. Leave lightweight clothing and linen in their drawers, saving time and space. Removal blankets are used to wrap large pictures, which are taken directly off the wall and onto the lorry by the porters. Label each box – pack each room in separate boxes and clearly mark the box. The porters will place the boxes in the rooms as required. Freezers - If you are moving within the local area leave your freezer switched on, our staff will ensure that this will be the last item to be packed onto the removal vehicle and the first thing to be taken off and moved into the house. Beds – the dismantling and reassembling of beds is included in your quotation with the exception of bunkbeds and cabin beds, unless separately stated on the quotation. Fill a box with things you might need when you arrive at your new home - pack essential paperwork, important documents, medication and jewellery separately and label.

Do you supply boxes and packing materials?We supply a packing kit for use by customers which consists of 10 large boxes, 15 small boxes, 1 pack of packing paper and 2 rolls of tape. Extra packaging materials are available at an additional cost. This will be available when your removal date is definite and we have received your deposit. If in the meantime if you would like to purchase some extra boxes, please call our office in Paignton on 01803 665535 to arrange to collect from our storage facility. Wardrobe cartons will be brought on the day of your removal for the packing of clothes. If you require the wardrobe boxes for a period, we ask that you pay a refundable deposit per carton. Shoes can be stored in the bottom of the wardrobe cartons.

How do I return my packing boxes?When you are ready to return all boxes and packaging, please phone our Paignton office where arrangements will be made to have the boxes collected. We do this during our normal working day, i.e. in between removals, so we may not always be available immediately, but will be with you as soon as we can. You can also return them to our storage facility at Unit 12, Woodview Road, Paignton, TQ4 7HP. This is open between 8.00 and 5.00 Monday to Friday and 8.00 to 4.00 Saturday.
